Chapter 7: Coordinate Geometry
A coordinate system is a system of assigning addresses for positions in the plane or in space
In Coordinate Geometry, the plane is called Cartesian Plane because the idea was developed by the Mathematician Rene Descartes (1596 - 1650) who was also known as Cartesius. It is a plane with a rectangular coordinate system that associates each point in the plane with a pair of numbers.
